DAY ONE
Its a Sunday 27th August at 0300hrs and we are still at home, waiting to leave home any moment. Our flight stipulated timing is 0630hrs but I was too excited to sleep even and had wake hubby up to leave home early. Dad and Mom drove to send us to the airport. Being the kuku I am, I told them to alight us at Budget Terminal because I thought that Jetstar Airways was a Budget airline, it should be at Budget Terminal. However, before I even entered, I saw the list of aeroplanes and Jetstar was not inclusive. I had to call Dad and Mom to Uturn back to fetch us again. Argh, I was definitely a muddle head. They were already at the expressway and had to take some time back to Uturn. Once they returned, off to Terminal one we go.
We checked in our Playboy luggage and handcarry another black empty luggage up the plane to put our shopping loots. I have a tendency to buy things for family members and most time, my luggage always triple the amount when we are back so this time we had to prepare ourselves. Or so we thought. Hung around the airport for abit, had kiliney for breakfast and off we go on our flight yay! Did I mentioned that this trip was supposedly planned to celebrate my birthday trip. I was really very excited but could started to feel lethargic already and we slept a little on the squeezy plane. Was starting to regret buying Jetstar, too space constraint and with my big tummy I was feeling very uncomfortable.

3 hrs plus later we arrived at HK !! OMG, I had always wanted to visit hongkong but never had the time, cash, company to go to. We took the airport express which cost 140hkd for 2 and off to Kowloon to sit the free shuttle bus K3 to Nikko Hotel. Hubby had expressed to them over the internet that its our first trip to HK and were celebrating our honeymoon. So we had a warm welcome from them which they also mentioned that they gave us a free room upgrade which I did not think differs from what I had chosen my harbour view room from the internet.
Sweet gesture from the hotel. The chocz were delicious.
After settling down, we went out to explore. Nearest MTR was East Tsim Sha Tsui. Which was quite a distance from East Tsim Sha Tsui. We covered Mongkok area, ladies street, jardine crescent, causeway bay, Nathan Road, gold fish market, temple street. Quite a bit of major shopping areas for our first day. Cause we were walking most of the time and everywhere was kinda had a linkage. FOOD ! options were really bad.. Even drinks that I ordered or simply from 7-11 tasted quite different. Gold fish market was a street full of pets.. It was an awesome experience and I kept wondering why Singapore did not have such places. I totally love it there. And the shopping building I love most? The 4 storey Forever 21 building which of course I bought clothes not for me but for our family. We headed back to the hotel at around 2200hrs , as the shops closed around that timing and there really isn't much places to head to at night. We decided it was enough for our first day.
Our Awesome Night View From Our Room
Day TWO
Rise
and shine and off to the roof top pool we went. I had specially chose
Nikko Hotel as it was stated as a 5 star hotel with a swimming pool.
Many hotels were fully booked and a most did not have swimming pools.
Floated it the water with my baby bump for a bit and the sun was really
hot. Hongkong was really humid with bad air and kinda polluted my skin
causing all the break outs. Headed to change and off to delifrance for
breakfast.

DisneyLAND
here we come ! It was a really long trip and full of long walks to the
MTR and my leg was starting to get swollen and painful. One thing I
dislike is not Hongkong its the Mainland china people who are really
rowdy, thick skin and uncivilised. They did not give way to a pregnant
lady, I dont mind. But being the first one in the queue, all the way
from the back, they could still push and just slam you to the side. That
really pisses me off. Thank God hubby was there to protect me and baby.
I DO NOT wanna fight with you guys with a seat, just let me squeeze
peacefully and successfully. My mood was really dampened. Because all
this kinda people were everywhere. Spirits were lifted though when I saw
my pooh bear banner inside Disneyland walkway.

I went
crazy inside Disneyland, it was like a pooh paradise !!! And maybe cause
my lil baby wanted to eat cookies, I spent an unbelievable amount of
time inside the disney cookies shop just to choose cookies to eat. LOL.
The bill? Needless to say, some amount that my hubby almost fainted.
haaha.
Than it was off to taking pictures with Mascots
around Disney. I don't understand why when some of my friends tell me
they don't go to Disneyland when they are in HK not even the first time
to check the place out as they thought that there was nothing there and
probably could comb the entire place in like half an hour ? I have to
say that I had an amazing time there. And to top it off, after spending
hours without riding the rides even. Its an amazing place. ESP when pooh
bear rub my tummy and let me hug him just because I am a FAN. hahaha.
He was amazed at my Pooh Hat.
One big happy family. Favourite Picture.
Beneath them lies my cookies.
We
returned to the hotel to put back our cookie loots and headed over to
Habour City. The shopping areas, I din really fancy. I equate them to
either Lucky plaza or ION. Nothing much. And every shop basically sell
the same stuff.
DAY THREE
Wanted to use the pool, and it was closed due to thunderstorm. What a spoiler. So out we went.
YES ! You din see wrongly. Took this picture specially to make my lil sissy envious. Its a Doraemon exhibition paradise.
We were at the Ferry Terminal wanting to take Star Ferry To Central to go to ocean park. It was quite cheap I think 8HKD for two. And it was an experience on board the old Ferry.
Thats's the pier and we cab down about 69HKD to Ocean park cause the city bus just left and will only arrived 1hr later.
Definitely looking forward to going up the Ocean Park. So exciting. Although it was hot and humid.
And so many PEOPLE !!! For short, hubby and me called them Cucumbers. Cucumbers, cucumbers, cucumbers are everywhere !
We went inside and the queue to go in the GIANT aquarium was very long. We went through it anyway.
Octopus !!
Sea turtle ! Reminds me of my tiny farm
Amazingly HUGE Crab
Finally we were out of the aquarium. And my feet was sore and I had to constanly apply Yoko Yoko which hubby had sweetly bought for me. To numb my legs while feeling hot. I was so much in pain and agony but I did not wanna waste my holidays. Guess its because Im preggie thats why my legs have never walked till this painful until the heels had water bubbles even while wearing the most comfortable FITT FLOPS. Sighz.
Emo Me. While hubby buying Drink
As u can see my spirits are easily lifted as Hubby was the best companion ever. AND pandas are so forever cute.
Cant buy him so I have to make do with a picture. Too much soft toys I have to ask Hubby to control me.
Just like me and you. hehehe.
And We came to the land of the GOLDfish... reminds me of that surprise advanced present that Hubby bought for me before we left for the trip. Sigh. Another long story.
I will always love you.
We were exhausted . Off to some game stalls that they had. Hehehe. Hubby was looking at the basketball games that they had and while playing he sucessfully won me a toy. Yay.
Fruits, selling fruits! Any body wanna buy!
Ocean Park is really huge and we had to take either train or cable car to the other side where the rides were. The cable cars seems really unstable and had creaking sound hahahah. We held on for dear life.
Over the other end where rides were, there was also North and South pole animals.. And it happened to the penguins feeding time. They are so cuteand systematic that they actually know that one penguin is limited to one big fish and queued up and automatically walked away once they had their share.
After days of carrying whatever stuff we bought, my handbag, DSLR camera(I swear they were very heavy), I could tell Hubby really wanted to ride one of the thrill rides but he just did not want me to wait alone. Hence when I saw one the thrill rides had the shortest queue I told him to go ahead and to reward himself. After much hesitation and persuasion, he finally went and sat the FLASH. Boy was I glad that I was preggie and could not sit, the ride look like a mind blowing one.
Thats my hubby up on the rotating 360 ride !
MY BIRTHDAY AT THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT
Now I just wanna digress a bit from the itinerary of events. Of course DAY THREE was also my birthday and at the stroke of mid night, I had already fallen asleep on the bed. Hubby woke me up with my favourite Cheesecake and with it being lighted sang a happy birthday song for me I was very much surprised that he was so sweet and nice and I was speechless that after that he took out a bunny hand written card. I WAS ELATED to the max. The simplest gesture is one of the most heart warming one. And he bought the card along time ago and brought it together to HK. Thanks for the thoughts and every single details that you have thought of and provided me so that I can have the sweetest birthday from our far away island. I love you.
Back to where I stopped. After ocean park, we headed to The Peak. OH and it was another uphill walk. The wait just to take the tram was AN HOUR. Initially we thought it was just another center. We went to Madam Tussands.
The three little pigs. LOL
Take me away with you, MY spiddy. Blow my mind off.
Take one - FAILED. Who does Kungfu smilling. Only me I guess cause I love Donnie Yen.
Take TWO - FAILED. I looked forced to do Kungfu.
Look up up and away!
Stop Touching his nipples !!
Clash of the Titans.
Competition of the bellies.
Erm competition of the mouth? hehehe
Lets look glam Michael cause you and me, We share the same birthday.
Okay lets do it no strings attached.
Sulking cause hubby makes me take photos with all the old gurls while he gets the young ones. LOL
I love her and how we both look pink.
Headed out and had my birthday dinner and Bubba Gump - Seafood Restaurant. Been days since we ate a proper meal. And we ordered Shrimps shrimps shrimps. LOL. every dish was about shrimps.
Interestingly, you dont have to call their waiter, just turn the signboard to stop and they will come to your table to attend to you. We ordered light up glass smoothie and we got to bring the cute glasses back after were done drinking.
Our seafood feast with an expensive bill but hubby said just for my birthday it is okay. How sweet.
Greedy me cant wait to gobble the food I was starving for days !!!!! hahaha. The food tasted like fish and Co but 10 times nicer. Very very fresh.
Headed out and to our surprise, the peak was not just a shopping center I know we are kuku. We went out and it was cold and eerie with the roads seemingly like the hongkong movie YING YANG LU. haaha.
As spooky as the ghost movies.
Queued and squeeze for the tram before heading back again. Long day indeed and we were off to bed.
Day FOUR
Morning view of our room was fabulous as well. We decided to head over to macau today. Went over to take ferry at China Hongkong Ferry Terminal. Tickets was about 600HKD for a return ferry ticket. Once there, we came out and saw a row of booths advertising different hotels and different free shuttle buses to their hotels. We chose The Venetian cause I googled and they mentioned that its one of the biggest and best casinos to go into and explore.
The place seemed like a little island like batam with lotsa big infrastructures catering like genting but with nicer views and designs. After playing a little at the casino, we were went shopping around Macau and headed back thereafter. Before that I spotted Naraya and went crazy again. I just have a thing for bags with ribbons. The bags were quite expensive in Macau as compared to Bangkok. Nevertheless I did grab a couple bags before we headed back.
Day FIVE
Finally its our last day. With swollen feet and blistered heels, I was feeling really really tired. Force myself to get ample rest until check out time. The silly thing was I specially chose a hotel with a pool only to use it one day as I was too tired the subsequent days.
Before checking out here is a happyfamily picture of us to tell our child next time that daddy and mommy did bring you along to HK. hee.

We went to do last min shopping and walking around, getting baby clothes. And I realized HK have Naraya too. hahahaha to think we carried all the way back from Macau. Took the 2025hrs flight back to SG and it was delayed for 45 mins without explainantion until finally the flight captain informed that they had a passenger issue. The plane was delayed because of ONE miserable china passenger. The overhead compartments were full and they gave an option to check in baggage FREE and she opted for it which they took down her luggage. In the end she changed her mind and they had to retrieve her baggage back again fron the baggage side and they asked all the passengers that we had two options. Either to call the police or someone is willing to give up the overhead compartment to her. Every body kept chanting CALL THE POLICE call the police. The flight captain explained that for the sake of everyone it was not wise to do so as additional half hour of delayed will be caused. Which I dont see why not as we have already been delayed long enough. Finally an old auntie gave up the compartment to her. The passenger was not appreciative and even shouted what if she is a terrorist. The flight stewardess had to still continue talking nicely and patiently to her. Finally the captain mentioned that it was his call to let the china passenger stay on board because many of us were concern for security issues and he assured us that it will be safe. Based on what assurance? I wondered. The commotion ended.
It was a flight where we made a new friend too. She told us that never go HK between June to end August as it was their school holidays. Arghhh. No wonder everywhere was packed.
To sum it up, Hongkong would have been a lovely place if not for all these mainland china people who thought of nobody else but themselves. Who act as if they are country bumpkins and everyone is for themselves. They are utterly selfish. Perhaps until little baby grows big will I decide to bring her to HK disneyland.
Thank you dearest sweetheart for taking such great care of both of us on this trip. To ensure that we will not feel so tired and for making us feel safe while travelling with you. After this trip its time to work and focus on resting before delivery.
