After Blogging this long post for one hour and the website hang, I'm really upset. I have to start all over again...In this post, I wanna talk about when I first discovered my pregnancy. Since we got married in February 2012 and went for our honeymoon in Taiwan, we were hoping that we could conceive our first child, Made in Taiwan. But apparently we did not, and when we returned back to Singapore, my period still came. We were disappointed but not giving up.
Than came May, my period was late for 26days. And I did lots of research online. We bought at least 8 pregnancy kits. They all turned out negative. And many mothers that I asked and through online research, they had all equate it to stress and our desire of getting a baby. Hence my period came late and I was not pregnant. But hubby refused to believe.

Hubby returned from work and he asked if I would like to do one more pregnancy test. I was really reluctant because I dislike the disappointment each time the test kit said no. However, he told me that lets do it one last time. This time round he took the kit and counted, in less than 10 secs, the kit turned positive. When he showed me, I stared at it in disbelief over n over again. We were sooooo happy. Immediately, he called up clinics different ones to enquire when should we have an ultrascan...

Today was the very first appointment with Dr Tan Poh Kok. We were clueless on which gynae to choose and which clinic to go to. In the end, we settled on NEX women's clinic. It was near to my house and more convenient for frequent check ups. Finally, we saw our little miracle for the first time inside a little bubble which Dr Tan calls it. We were so happy and filled of joy that words could not describe. We asked tons n tons of questions.

Today we heard your heart beat for the very first time. It was thumping super fast. It was loud and clear. We were so happy.

Today we went to Mount Alvernia to get a full detailed scan. When the doctor said Its a girl, you should have seen daddy's face. His eyes twinkled like he just won one million dollars. Now little baby you can wear all the pretty clothes that daddy had gotten for you already. You are all he ever dream of. Daddy's little girl.

Today I'm about 24 weeks pregnant. The past 22 weeks have not been an easy breezy one for me. Whatever I  ate and drank, I vomited everything out. The feeling was horrible ! I felt so sick. My tummy felt horrible. My heart broke when the gynae said that little baby you were active but too small. Now that my appetite has gotten better and I no longer have frequent vomiting, I thanked GOD that you will get nutrients now.
Pregnancy is definitely not an easy journey but I'm thankful that my hubby is with me and supporting me physically and mentally. Every day is a learning journey for us. As we await the arrival of our baby girl.
Third trimester is coming, definitely I'm getting more and more nervous especially about delivery. Need to hynotise myself that everything will be fine. heehe.
